Comparison of Gujarati_GIH, Telugu_GBR, Tamil_GBR datasets

The South Asian populations like Gujaratis, Telugus, Tamils tend to cluster closeby. There is a subset of Gujarati in Houston population, Telugus in Great Britain and Tamils in Great Britain.

Running a simple analysis using nmonte Global 25 shows up following facts,

Telugus have highest ancestral Iran-N mixed ASI population proportion indicated by Shahr-e-Sokhte BA2 set from ancient Iran Sistan area

Gujaratis have highest recent admix from North probably during MLBA due to arrival of Brahmins. Russian Karelia admix shows some Gujaratis have highest of that proportion

Tamils and Telugus have highest Levant/Med like admix indicated by Italian Sardinian outlier

Tamils have highest Southern Eurasian admix indicated by Taiwan Henben population which correlates to ASI

Telugus have highest of ancient Basal Eurasian mix similar to Ust_Ishim as shown by Paleo Taiwan population

Gujaratis and Telugus have Early farmer mixed population similar to Balkan admix indicated by Italian Daunian population probably an ancient Kshatriya lineage

Telugus have highest Mediterranean population admix like Crete/Minoan indicated by Italian Collegno MA outliers probably ancient Kamboj mix

some Gujarati and some Telugus have highest Viking like admix indicated by Viking Gotland VK2020 dataset probably due to Xiongnu/Chauhan like mix

some Telugus also carry higher Maykop admix due to L1a Naga mixed during Pallava time

NOTE: Care required when using Global 25 coordinates from Eurogenes for Indian populations. These coordinates tend to exaggerate certain central asian population components and other related mixed components among Indians specifically for Brahmins, Jats etc.. while ignoring or neglecting the pre-MLBA mixed part
